Need a heating oil top-up without ordering a large quantity? Or live somewhere that’s difficult for a full-size tanker to reach?
Hendy-Hines offers smaller heating oil deliveries in Somerset and Devon, using our mini tanker to help local homes and businesses. Based in Wiveliscombe, we’re a family-run business specialising in oil tanks and heating oil services.
A smaller delivery to suit your needs
Not every customer needs a large delivery of heating oil. You may want a top-up to keep your heating running, have limited space in your tank, or be moving away from oil heating and only need enough to bridge the gap.
Our smaller delivery service gives you another option. Tell us your postcode and how much oil you’re looking for, and we’ll confirm availability and provide a quote.
Heating oil for properties with difficult access
Narrow lanes, tight entrances and restricted driveways can make deliveries more complicated.
Our compact mini tanker may be suitable for properties that larger delivery vehicles struggle to reach. We’ll discuss the access with you before booking, including the approach to your property and the position of your oil tank.
If you’re unsure, send us a few photographs of your entrance, driveway and tank so we can assess whether we can help.
Running low or out of heating oil?
If your tank is nearly empty—or you’ve already run out—contact us with your location and requirements.
We’ll check our delivery availability and let you know the earliest slot we can offer. Emergency deliveries depend on our schedule, fuel availability and access to your property, so please call to discuss your situation.
Switching to a heat pump?
If you’re waiting for a heat pump installation, you may need enough oil to keep your home warm until the changeover.
A smaller delivery could help cover that gap. Hendy-Hines also carries out oil tank removals, so you can speak to us about both your short-term fuel needs and removing the tank once it is no longer required.
Prefer to collect heating oil?
We also offer heating oil collections from our yard in Wiveliscombe.
Please contact us before travelling to confirm availability, collection arrangements and suitable containers.
How to request a smaller heating oil delivery
